Parkgate did not have it all their own way in a win against mid-table Brighouse.
Strikes from Ashley Worsfold and Grant Allott in a two-minute spell midway through the first half put the home side in control.
Town hit back through Matt Sparkes on the stroke of half-time but Luke Fletcher sealed Parkgate’s win and moved them back to within four points of leaders Farsley with a game in hand.
