Jake Livermore has revealed that he sought the advice of former Leeds United trio Jonathan Woodgate, Aaron Lennon and Danny Rose before agreeing to join the Elland Road club on loan this week.
The Tottenham midfielder said his three clubmates had “only positive things to say about the place”.
Livermore, 21, added: “I want to help Leeds get promotion, whether it is automatic or through the play-offs. The big games are what you play football for.”
The Enfield-born youngster made a full recovery from a broken leg suffered in his teens when he was on loan at Crewe.
