The Bradford Sunday Alliance League has reached the sharp end of their season with the Intermediate Cup semi-finals taking centre stage at Rawdon Meadows on Sunday.

Stanningley Albion, who lead Division 2A and have not dropped a point, take on mid-table Division 1A outfit Stocks Lane Rangers, while Division 1B leaders Sandy Lane have Division 2A side Undercliffe as opposition.

Undercliffe are going all out for promotion and this will give them a taste of the higher-division football they might face because their opponents have still to be beaten in the league this season.

In the Premier Division, Buttershaw White Star will be hoping to return to winning ways, after dropping points to Bolton Woods last week, when they visit Baildon Trinity Athletic, while Westwood Park put their cup ambitions to one side when they visit an inconsistent Dudley Hill Rangers.

Division One leaders Mill Lane, who lost their unbeaten league record to White Eagles, have mid-table George Hotel as visitors, and second-placed Wyke Wanderers visit Manningham hoping for all three points.

Table-toppers Tyersal visit local rivals Thornbury Celtic, and third-placed Thornton United, who were unfortunate against champions West Bowling last week in the District Cup, have basement dwellers Dog and Gun as visitors, and hope to cash in if the leaders drop points.

Top match in Division 1B is at Wrose Bull, who entertain Dudley Hill Rangers Reserves.

The second strings will move to the top of the table if they collect all three points, and the same scenario occurs in Division 2A where Dudley Hill Athletic entertain Nab Wood.
