Chev Walker is included in the Bulls’ 19-man squad for Friday’s game at St Helens after making an early return from injury.

The powerful centre had been expected to sit out at least four games with a pectoral tear but returns a week ahead of schedule.

He replaces young back-rower John Bateman in the only change from the 19-man squad for last week’s clash with Castleford.

After suffering a string of injuries throughout the opening weeks of the campaign, Bulls boss Mick Potter can finally enjoy the luxury of a virtually full-strength squad.

Only Gareth Raynor and Ian Sibbit are currently sidelined but both could be back as soon as next week, while long-term casualty Dave Halley is also nearing a return.

Saints welcome back Jon Wilkin and Sia Soliola, while Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook should also be fit to start after missing the win against Leeds last week.

Aussie prop Josh Perry damaged his shoulder at Headingley but Saints remain hopeful he will play, while hooker Scott Moore is appealing the one-match ban he was given on Tuesday for a dangerous tackle on Kevin Sinfield.
