Visitors Westwood Park won the much-delayed third-round West Riding County FA Sunday Cup tie 2-0 yesterday at fellow Bradford Sunday Alliance League Premier Division side Oakenshaw.

Both teams were reduced to ten men from the 65th minute, and five minutes later Park took the lead through a Dave Armitage strike and doubled it eight minutes later through Cameron Nelson.

Buttershaw White Star progressed to the quarter-finals by defeating Heavy Woollen team Towngate 7-4.

Dean Walters, making his debut for Undercliffe, found the net four times against Harold Club, Michael Reynolds also scoring twice for the hosts. Stanningley Albion hit four without reply at Wrose Albion.

The Amateur Cup fourth-round match between Robin Hood and visitors Aire Athletic produced 15 goals, but unfortunately 14 were for the home team, with Marcus Edwards and Mathew Dempsey both getting hat-tricks, and Chris Hannan bagging five!

There was also some league action, Premier Division champions West Bowling playing their first league match of the year.

They leap-frogged Bolton Woods to go back to the summit after a hard-earned 3-1 victory.

In the First Division, Wyke Wanderers hit nine against Gaping Goose, Mathew Conway getting a hat- trick and super sub Chris Davies hitting a second- half brace.

Prince won by the odd goal in seven against Ventus United, Liam Kinch getting the decisive goal in the last minute to complete a hat-trick against his former club.

Mill Lane carried on at the top of the table with a 5-4 victory over Manningham.

In Division 1B, George went goal crazy with an 11-1 victory at Woodman, James Royal hitting six goals and Paul Mitchell a hat-trick for the visitors.

Queensbury Reserves beat Pudsey United in Division 2A, the only goal of the game being scored by Jack Wood, James Hudson getting the match point.

Heaton King's Arms gained only their second victory of the season when they defeated Shoulder of Mutton.

After going 1-0 down in the early stages of the match, they led 3-1 at the interval after being well on top.

A solid second-half rearguard display allowed the visitors to take home the points. Wes McCullam, Chris Terry and Neil Ward (penalty) were on the mark for the Heaton side.
