Liversedge suffered a 4-1 defeat at home to West Riding County Amateur League side Bay Athletic.
New Sedge manager Stuart Waddington has limited time to settle on a starting line-up for Saturday’s Northern Counties East League opener so he fielded two different sides.
The first-half team won 1-0 with a goal from Ben Hardy but the visitors ran in four after the break to win comfortably.
