Jon McLaughlin has committed his long-term future to City after signing a new three-year deal.
The 22-year-old has emerged as first-choice keeper following a string of impressive performances to end last season.
Given his chance by boss Peter Taylor in the final month of the campaign, McLaughlin conceded just three goals in a six-match unbeaten run.
McLaughlin kept clean sheets against Northampton and Crewe and also saved a penalty in a man-of-the-match display at Burton.
