Dean Windass scored a hat-trick as his Harrogate side beat Whetley Lane 3-2 in the FA Umbro Vets Cup quarter-finals.
Harrogate, who also included fellow Bantams old boy Peter Beagrie in their line-up, needed two late goals to get the better of their Bradford-based hosts.
Richard Thackeray scored both goals for Whetley, who were unlucky not to equalise when a Martin Kemp free-kick hit the crossbar.
Darren Whyte and Nigel Beck were also outstanding for Whetley.
