Leeds and Oldham will both have to make changes in their line-up when they meet in the first round of the FA Cup at Boundary Park on Saturday.
Leeds have failed to get permission to play loanees Sam Vokes or Max Gradel so Tresor Kandol looks set to start up front alongside Jermaine Beckford.
The Latics have a series of injury concerns but are hopeful that Chris Taylor will return after missing the 1-0 defeat by Huddersfield.
However one player definitely missing will be Alan Sheehan, who has returned to Elland Road following his loan spell.
The clubs are negotiating a further month-long loan but part of that will be that he cannot face Leeds in the cup or next month’s league clash.
There will be a face familiar to Leeds fans in the Oldham line-up. Sean Gregan is set to make his 397th career appearance.
The 35-year-old, who played 74 times for Leeds, has been ever-present for Oldham this season.
