Guiseley picked up a 2-0 win on their trip to Retford United in the UniBond Premier Division.
The Lions opened the scoring in the fifth minute through a Lee Tuck header from Steve Burton’s cross.
They had two penalty claims turned down within a minute, the first for handball and then a home defender appeared to upend Jamie Walshaw.
But the visitors got the clincher in the 74th minute when Burton chased down a back pass and rounded the keeper.
