Spen Valley League Premier Division side Ravensthorpe Rangers had a 3-1 victory over Bradford, who missed a penalty early in the match.

Ironically, the goal they scored was from a penalty by Jurdip Singh Bhambra after they trailed 3-0 at half-time.

The venue was reversed owing to Bradford’s ground not being available.

Black Horse, who were down to ten men for most of the game, went down 3-1 to Savile Town, who led 2-0 at half-time.

There was an exciting game between Youth 2000 and Jardys, who won 5-4 after being level 3-3 at half- time.

James Weightman scored a hat-trick for the winners, Lee Carter and Lee Speight completing the tally. A Seedat, A Lakhi, M Ashiq and A Mamainat were on target for Youth.

George Healey beat Howden Clough 4-2, Simon Moore bagging a brace for the victors, Colin Jenkins and Jordan Barnett also scoring. Jamie Clark was on target twice for Howden Clough.

In Division One, Marsh beat Wellington 5-3, man of the match Tom Nixon hitting a treble for Marsh, James Shingleton and John Milner also scoring.

Marsh scored their first goal after only 11 seconds. Richard McCann had an outstanding game for Wellington, scoring two goals, Carl McCann getting the other.

Referee Ilyas, who stepped in at short notice, had an excellent game.

Inter Batley beat White Rose 4-2 after being held 1-1 at half-time. M Navsarka scored two goals for the winners, N Ahsrad and Zak Daji also being on target. For White Rose, Tim Clarke and Danny Moffatt netted.

Black Bull put up an excellent fight against Sporting Armley, eventually losing 3-1 after holding them to 1-1 at the interval.

Ryan Burton scored for Black Bull, Darren Knight (2) and Carl Smith replying for Sporting Armley, who netted twice in the last ten minutes.

Fairbank lost 5-0 to Quarry, whose marksmen were Luke Newsome (2), Lee Sykes, Adam Firth and Jay Hinchcliffe.
