Lee Bullock column: We’ve started pilates in training this week which is an interesting challenge for us all.

A husband-and-wife team from a local gym took us for two sessions and reckoned we were the tightest bunch of blokes they’d ever seen!

But the gaffer and Jakes have been doing it as well which made us look a whole lot better.

We’ve had a laugh at some people who are that stiff they can’t move. But they reckon it stops injuries so everyone’s giving it their best shot.

On the injury front, it’s good to have Omar back with us on the training ground. He’s doing the warm-ups although he can’t join in fully with any contact stuff.

I used to have some good battles with Omar in training so hopefully it won’t be too long before we’re doing that again.

He reckons he hasn’t lost any of his pace and slowly but surely is losing the limp. Give it a month or so and he’ll back in the squad again – which is great news for us but maybe not for opposition defenders.

We’ve had a couple of bad results lately but we haven’t been battered. Against Crewe and Dagenham we’ve gone down with a good fight.

We’ve mentioned that we need to get our home form right. We’ve got a massive chance to do that with a few games at Valley Parade coming up.

It’s so close and another win or so would put us back within a point or two of the play-offs.

I’d also like to congratulate young Olly Forsyth for scoring all four goals for the youth team last week. It’s a great achievement and we all signed a ball for him on Monday morning.

Perhaps he can give me a few lessons. OB and I are still the only ones not to have got a goal yet. I get more than him in training but that doesn’t count.

I had one going in on Saturday but it hit a defender and went wide and the Crewe keeper saved my shot the week before. I’m getting closer so OB best watch out!
