New signing Tufil Ahmed sparked a Bradford Arms recovery as they hit back from a goal behind at half-time to beat Abundant Life 5-1 in the Telegraph & Argus League.

Tom Dixon gave the visitors their interval cushion and this prompted Arms manager Paul Miah to make changes.

They soon produced the desired results as Ahmed created four of the five goals, with Patrick McGinley (2), Ryan Metcalfe (2) and Mujaid Malik cashing in, while Peter Henson also excelled for the hosts.

TVR United also hit five goals before visiting All Nations salvaged some pride with two replies.

Ashiq Iqbal (2), Mohammed Ishmaeel, debutant Waseem Nazir and Farooq Miah scored for United.

West Bowling edged a scrappy game at Lidget Green 3-2 as Khalik Sheeraz fired a last-minute winner.

Bowling duo Shaid Saddiq and Manny Hussain had seen their earlier strikes cancelled out by Shazad Ashraf and Farfraz Khan.

It was also close between Sporting Athletic and Bradford All Stars, who ran out 4-3 winners having been pegged back from 2-0 and 3-1 up.

Junny Mohammed hit the decisive final goal for All Stars after earlier efforts from Imran Khan (2) and Sajad Rehmann.

The remaining Premier Division fixture saw Thornbury Youth Community Centre and White Abbey Road fight out a goalless draw.
