Eccleshill United are one of several non-league clubs who have yet to fulfil a fixture this month due to the arctic weather but they expect to get the go-ahead for their Northern Counties East League Premier Division clash with Parkgate tonight.
The Eagles are stranded at the foot of the table and have not played since suffering a 3-2 loss at promotion-chasing Hallam.
Eagles secretary Mark Holstead said: “We should get back into action tonight. It is looking extremely favourable and I have spoken to Parkgate to let them know.
“Everyone is looking forward to getting a game in. It has been disappointing not being able to continue after what was a good display last time out but at least all the other teams are in the same situation.”
