Northern Irish snooker ace Mark Allen is the latest of the world’s best players to be making an appearance at the Saltaire Bar in Shipley.
Allen is ranked as the third-best player in the world as it stands, so this is a real coup for Gilstead snooker aficionado Keith Walker, who has been organising these events for years.
Steve Davis, Mark Williams and John Higgins are among the names who have come to the Bradford District on the invitation of Walker, with the stars taking part in exhibitions with local amateurs and Q&As for fans to lap up.
Allen, who is currently taking part in the World Snooker Championship at the Crucible, will be at the Saltaire Bar on Friday, September 13 for a 10-frame exhibition, with tickets costing £40 each.
