Bradford (Park Avenue) have confirmed the departure of on-loan goalkeeper Kieren Flavell,

He returns to League One side Barnsley after being recalled by his parent club earlier this week.

During his time at Avenue, Flavell made nine appearances for the first team, helping the side to three wins and three draws in their fight for survival in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.

Avenue have two games left and must win both to stay up, while also needing other results to go their way.

Flavell's last game for the club came on Easter Saturday, in a 2-2 draw at Ilkeston Town.

Craig Ellison started between the sticks for Avenue in their 3-2 defeat against league leaders Radcliffe on Easter Monday.

And it was the experienced Mancunian, signed as a free agent last month, who got the nod five days later, playing a starring role in a 2-1 home win at Horsfall against Basford United.

With Avenue back on home soil this weekend against Gainsborough Trinity, the club are offering all EFL, National League and rugby season ticket holders free entry to the game.

The club have warned fans that they have had to close the Cemetery Road entrance to their car park, due to the worsening road conditions behind the main stand.

This means that supporters using the car park on Saturday will need to enter through the Park Road entrance.

The car park is free to enter, with spaces on a first-come, first-served basis.
