Leeds have signed Djed Spence on a season-long loan from Tottenham.
United have paid a £1million loan fee to secure the 23-year-old full-back's services, but there is no obligation to make the move permanent, the PA news agency understands.
Spence has become surplus to requirements under Ange Postecoglou at Spurs this campaign after joining the club from Middlesbrough last year.
He had a temporary stay at Ligue 1 side Rennes last season along with Spurs team-mate Joe Rodon, who is also on loan at Elland Road this term.
Spence, who won promotion to the Premier League with Nottingham Forest in 2022, becomes Leeds' sixth summer signing under Daniel Farke following the arrivals of Rodon, Sam Byram, Joel Piroe, Ethan Ampadu and Karl Darlow.
