HERE are this week’s angling lines for Leeds and Listerhills:
LEEDS & DISTRICT A.S.A.
The match at Kippax Park, which was on Osprey Lake, was won by A. Sunter, with 48lb 8oz.
Second place was just behind with 46lb 2oz.
The section winners were D. Whittaker with 36lb 2oz and M. Turner with 43lb 7oz.
The midweek match at Moor Monkton Pools was won by G. Wormosly 100lb 5oz.
M. Dodsworth came second with 99lb 9oz, while P. Carter came third with 98lb 10oz.
LISTERHILLS A.A.
From the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, it was just small fish responding.
But from the River Aire at Apperley Bridge, an inexperienced angler landed a fish thought to be a barbel of good size.
