BINGLEY CONGS III, promoted last season, continue to prove their worth in Division Three of the Mewies Solicitors Craven League.
Sent in at Cowling II, they made 192-8, with the ever-reliable Waj Mahmood scoring 69 not out and captain Sam Higgins 47.
Cowling II were then dismissed for 186, despite 73 from Mohammed Abdullah Iqbal, with Ali Asghar taking 4-35 and Sarfraz Mahmood 2-41.
Congs II are fourth on 131 points, behind Gargrave II (142), Cononley (162) and Bowling Baptist (169).
Hepworth & Idle III had a brief period of excitement at Glusburn II in Division Four, reducing the hosts to 10-2 having scored 122.
However, Sam Britten (43no) and Basharat Hussain (64no) then added 113 unbroken to take Glusburn to an eight-wicket win.
Captain Daniel Moore (45) and Tom Sugden (22) had helped Hepworth & Idle to 108-2 before a horrible collapse.
