Farsley are being lent a hand by Leeds United as an injury crisis threatens to de-rail their Blue Square Premier League survival bid.

The Celts have been hit to the extent that boss John Deacey is still unsure who will be available for Saturday's trip to Oxford United.

But their neighbours are helping out, as Deacey said: "They have given us the okay to get our lads down to Elland Road to be worked on by their physio.

"The benefits of using the facilities there could mean we have at least one of our players back before we run out of games. I know Gary McAll-ister well and he has been brilliant."

Mark Jackson was taken to hospital after picking up the latest knock in Tuesday's home defeat to Droylsden. The swelling is so bad around his ankle that it's still unclear whether the bone is broken.

"We won at Torquay United last Saturday but the team I had then has been blitzed totally," added Deacey.

"Craig Bentham has returned to Bradford City, Jackson has been told by the doctors that his ankle is probably' not broken but we dispute that. Andy Watson is sidelined with a pulled hamstring, as is Amjad Iqbal, and Dominic Krief is out with a thigh strain.

"It looks like we have lost them all for the season, Bentham definitely, Jackson and Watson almost certainly and the other two maybe. Our physio is working every hour possible to try to get the players fit."

The Celts chief believes his side need at least two more wins from their remaining five games.
