Farsley 1 Droylsden 2
Farsley Celtic suffered what could yet be a very costly defeat at home to basement outfit Droylsden in the Blue Square Premier last night.
It was a dramatic ending with the Mancunian visitors hitting a late winner with a little over four minutes remaining.
The Celts felt aggrieved because Ashley Burbeary's header followed a disputed free-kick.
They had taken an early lead when Kevin Lynch headed home from a 12th-minute corner but Farsley soon hit back. Mark Jackson sent a through ball that Damian Reeves ran on to and he netted a half volley.
Jackson's night was cut short by an injury that may have ended his season. In the 38th minute he was whisked off in an ambulance with a suspected broken ankle.
