If Dwain Chambers plays this weekend, he'll be waking up Monday morning very stiff!

It looks like he won't now and it's the right decision. From a coaching perspective it was a massive risk putting him out there with hardly any training.

It's not like he's ever played the game in the past. He didn't even know how many players were in a team and to then go out and pick up all the technicalities, let alone deal with the physical contact, would have been crazy.

It could have been potentially dangerous too. He would have had a target on his head with all the press he's been having and his status. I'm sure lads would have sub-consciously been aiming up at him.

Whether or not it's good for the game remains to be seen. I know if I was a young lad at Cas I wouldn't have been happy seeing him turn up.

If you've worked for years and you miss a chance because of him then you can understand they'd be upset.

But you can look at it both ways. Chambers is a world-class athlete and if he can be coached to a certain degree to play Super League, he could potentially be a good signing.

Clubs are run as businesses and if Cas feel he could bring something to theirs then it's not such a bad thing - but only time will tell.

James Evans and Chris Nero have messed with the wrong man in Leigh Beattie.

A lot of the lads give our kit man some stick and he gives plenty back but those two have been relentless for months now, always on at each other like two bickering school kids.

Leigh finally cracked on Tuesday. He'd had enough. We arrived to see our training kit pegged out as normal but those two had a couple of pink uniforms!

Pink socks, shorts and a couple of girly pink vests with Bulls written on in glitter.

They were made to run around the gym in their new outfits, which was hilarious. They looked the part!

Tomorrow night it's Hull, who are always tough, but we're ready to build on what we did versus Cas.
