Bradford Dudley Hill will lack full back Lewis Evans on Saturday for their vital National Conference League Division One promotion trip to Thatto Heath Crusaders.
The classy Evans, who is equally at home in any three-quarter berth, is in the Yorkshire side at Cumbria.
Hill tackle one of their many rivals in the hunt for a top-three spot with debutant Simon Sewell in the No 1 jersey and Gavin Mezells is selected at loose forward after a brilliant hat-trick against East Leeds last time out.
Hill's coach Paul Baxter is upbeat regarding their chances, saying: "It's going to go down to the wire.
"York Acorn, who are just above us, are at leaders Wigan St Judes. Thatto Heath have won one of their last three but we are in good nick having lost one of our last five outings."
