Eccleshill United are the only one of the three local sides in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division to have home advantage on Saturday.
They host Brodsworth MW, who are two places below them in the table.
The Eagles are as inconsistent as recent results suggest, and even the management team admits they cannot predict what to expect.
Their young side won at Armthorpe, then slumped to a 4-1 defeat at Nostell but in midweek beat high-flying Pickering Town.
Andy Howland is doubtful for the visit of Brodsworth after injuring a knee on Tuesday against Pickering and ending the evening with a hospital visit.
