Donovan Ricketts and Omar Daley were both in action as Jamaica drew 2-2 with Trinidad & Tobago in Kingston.
The Reggae Boyz led 2-0 at half-time with goals from Wigan's Marlon King and Tyrone Marshall.
But coach Rene Simoes then rang the changes and replaced some of his experienced players, including Ricketts, with locally-based replacements.
Trinidad hit back after the break with Osei Telesford reducing the deficit with 15 minutes to go. And skipper Aurtis Whitely earned a draw with a spectacular last-minute equaliser.
Daley also went off during the second half after his pace had proved a real menace.
