KEIGHLEY swimmer Gabriel Medd was City of Bradford’s only representative in the Ullswater Chillswim in the stunning Lake District surroundings, but he made his appearance count in style.
The event was a 7.5k end to end swim, in which he was the youngest swimmer in the 15-19 years age group.
He won his age group in a time of three hours, 39 minutes and 28 seconds and was also seventh overall from 458 entries and fifth of 243 male swimmers.
Medd trains on the Bradford Aquatics Competition programme under the guidance of coaches Andy Pearce and Sarah Fisher.
