BOTH swimming as juniors, it was Rebecca Dunn and Gina Warrior who represented City of Bradford at the high level British Swimming Championships meet in Sheffield.

Sixteen-year-old Rebecca Dunn of Guiseley looked impressive as she swam to a 22nd place finish in the junior 200m breaststroke in a time of 2.41.16.

Her time was a personal best and a new club record in the 17/18 years age group.

Fifteen year old Gina Warrior produced an outstanding performance to also finish in 22nd place in the junior 50m backstroke in a new personal best time and club records in the 15/16 years and open age groups.

Dunn and Warrior both train with Bradford Council’s Leisure Services Aquatic Competition Programme under the guidance of senior coach Andy Pearce and development coach Sarah Fisher.
