A hat-trick from Ricky Greening dumped Eccleshill United out of the FA Vase 3-2 in a second-round replay at Pickering Town.

Like in the 1-1 draw on Saturday, the Eagles came from behind and even led 2-1 before the home side turned in a strong second-half display.

Greening got his first after 13 minutes when he scored from a retaken spot-kick after Mark Flanagan had brought him down. Mick Norton took the first one, which Eagles keeper Carl Zaborowsky saved, but a retake was ordered because the young stopper had moved off his line.

Chris Rosindale levelled from the spot after Paul Baker was fouled and the Eagles briefly led after Flanagan and Rosindale combined to fashion a chance, which Baker capitalised on.

Greening put Pickering back on terms just after the hour and grabbed the winner three minutes into stoppage time.
