JOHN Kear said that today's victory for Bradford Bulls was not about putting pressure on York City Knights.
The leaders defeated fourth-placed visitors Whitehaven 46-0, and Bulls head coach Kear said: "First of all we nilled them, which is always a plus point because we showed commitment in defence, especially at the end.
"We kept to our structures and systems, but it is not about putting pressure on York. It is just following on from the last 50 minutes against York and last week.
"It was not just a good display, it was a really good display."
Tries came from Ethan Ryan, whose sixth hat-trick of the season took him to 28 for the campaign (26 in the league), Elliot Minchella (2), man of the match Brandon Pickersgill, Jordan Lilley, Sam Hallas with Dane Chisholm kicking seven goals and Lilley one.
