SIMON Grayson saluted City’s “professionalism” after seeing off strugglers MK Dons to continue their mini-revival.

Timothee Dieng and Nathaniel Knight-Percival scored in a 2-0 win at Valley Parade as the Bantams made it four games unbeaten.

It was their third home victory under Grayson – and the most comfortable against a side poised to drop into League Two.

He said: “If somebody had offered us before the game a win, clean sheet and two goals we’d have been really pleased.

“You can use the word professional to describe the performance. We saw the game out in the right manner and limited them to few opportunities.

“We rode our luck in the first ten minutes when their lad hit the bar. But then we got the (first) goal and looked quite comfortable.

“We probably got both goals at the right time. The second one came when there was a bit of a lull in the game and not much happening.

“That obviously gave us the cushion to express ourselves and try to get a third one.”

City have taken eight points from the four games since they were thrashed 5-0 by Blackpool earlier this month.

Grayson added: “Small steps are all we are trying to do. The biggest thing is that the players have responded from the Blackpool debacle.”
