BOTH joint A Division leaders in the Dales Council League eased to comfortable victories at the weekend.

At Smithy Lane, Crompark made 263 (Syed Hashmi 63) before bowling out struggling Cookridge for just 81 (Intizar Mahmood 6-43).

Thornbury, the other table-toppers, travelled to Tong and restricted Farnley Hill to 115 after posting 236 (Hassan Khan 63, Saad Abbas 51).

At Karmand, Halifax Direct climbed into third place as, after making 210-9 (Tahir Raza 58, Zubair Badat 57), they bowled out Leeds Sikh for 167 (Harpal Ryatt 104no).

Leeds Caribbean travelled to Broad Lane and kept Bradford Moor to 100 (Naveed Anwar 5-24) before replying with 101-6.

Top innings in the section came at the Roundhay Oval, where Faisal Abid made his third century of the season and reached an unbeaten 165 out of 231-7 for New Wortley. In reply, Woodhouse batted out the overs for 156-9.

In the B Division, the highest individual innings of the day came at Fulneck as Roshan Patel scored an unbeaten 185 out of a Morley total of 270-6. Congs were bowled out for 206 in response.

Savile Stars travelled to Church Lane and made 211, with skipper Shakil Khan scoring 72 and Asif Gulzar 54, before bowling out basement club Adel for 98.

At Daleside Road, Thornbury B's run of six wins in a row came to an end as they were restricted to only 100 (Mohammad Tayyab 51) by Drighlington, who went on to win by seven wickets.

At Clariant, nine-man Farsley were bowled out for 100 by Pudsey St Lawrence, who replied with 102-6, while at Gledhow, Baildon totalled 111 against Leeds Sikh B, who replied with 112-9 (Simon Bullock 5-40) to edge a thriller.

Top score of the day in the C Division came at Meanwood Road, where St Chad's totalled 336 with number nine batsman Raja Armughan making an unbeaten 102, Joshua Wilmer 68 and Nazmul Hasan 65, before bowling out Cookridge C for 174 (Mohamed Shamir 5-22).

Leeds Caribbean B held on to top spot, dismissing Tong Park Esholt for 81 before making 84-4.

Halifax Direct B scored 178 at Station Road before Zair Shah scored 55 and Toseef Khan 51 in the Drighlington reply of 182-8.

At Sandal, bottom club Baildon B made it two wins in a row, scoring 131-8 (Scott Johnson 69) after bowling out Shipley Providence for 127 (Dom Kelly 5-26).
