CHAMPIONSHIP Division Two leaders Hartshead Moor are 30 points clear after their five-wicket All Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League win over old rivals Spen Victoria at Highmoor Lane.

Former Yorkshire and Scotland opening bowler Iain Wardlaw set up their latest triumph by taking 5-42 as Spen Victoria were dismissed for 121.

Mohammad Khan (37) and Ahsan Butt (36) then ensured that Moor reached their target to record a seventh straight win.

There was no doubting who the star performer was for second-placed Keighley as they defeated Northowram Fields by 55 runs.

Australian Travis Nightingale was on song with a sparkling 151, peppering the boundary with seven sixes and 17 fours.

Jack Beetham chipped in with 57 as Keighley posted an impressive score of 340-7.

Northowram Fields made a spirited reply of 285-9, with Chris Metcalf (91) and Ajantha Weerappulli (78) sharing a third-wicket partnership of 135.

Nathan Storton was the pick of the Keighley bowlers with 3-71.

Third-placed Altofts maintained their momentum with a five-wicket victory at Carlton.

Danny Eden took 4-48 as they restricted Carlton to 184-7, a total which owed much to the efforts of Will Smith (50) and Nick Busby (48).

Altofts' match-winner proved to be former Carlton all-rounder Farrouk Alam, who guided his new side to victory with an unbeaten 95.

Hunslet Nelson are fifth after their 30-run success over Buttershaw St Paul's.

Gary Close made an unbeaten 80 and was supported by Jack Scanlon (48) as a total of 239-6 was posted, left-arm spinner Ben Platt picking up 4-55 for St Paul's.

Pritesh Mistry made 62 for Saints but lacked support as his side were bowled out for 209. Glen Thompson took 3-37 and Alex Rose (3-50) for Nelson.

When Liversedge were bowled out for just 86, they probably did not rate their chances of winning too highly – but that was exactly what they did.

Opponents Idle were skittled for 77 in reply, with Steve Lane taking 5-31 and Asif Ali 3-14 to leave Liversedge winners by nine runs.

The highest individual score in the match was 19 by Liversedge tail-ender Wasim Khaliq, while the best performance for Idle was Salman Khan's 4-27.

Umar Abbas took 6-41 as Hopton Mills bowled out Brighouse for 62 on their way to an eight-wicket triumph.
