AFTER a week off, West Bowling return to action in Division Three of the Kingstone Press National Conference League tomorrow (1.00).

The Bradford club, who are currently third in the table, are at home to St Helens-based Clock Face Miners in a rearranged match.

West's coach Glenn Barraclough said: "Clock Face, who could not raise a side earlier in the season, wanted to kick off early so that they could go back to Lancashire to watch some rugby.

"They have hit a bit of form and when we trip ourselves up it is usually after a week off – and we didn't play last weekend.

"But we are fairly confident and the weather should suit our fast-paced, open style of game."

Bowling, who welcome back three-quarter Ellis Bentley to their squad, are near to full strength and a win would put them second ahead of neighbours Stanningley, who put 60 points past Elland without reply last week, and a point behind leaders Ryland Sharks.

In Division Two, Bradford Dudley Hill – who won 28-6 at Leigh East last time out to stay fourth – are also without a fixture.

Queensbury are pulling their boots on early this weekend as they host Siddal Academy in the Yorkshire Men's League tonight (7.00) in a battle between clubs placed fourth and fifth in the Premier Division.

Keighley Albion are at Mirfield Stags, who have only won one of their four matches, in Division One tomorrow (2.30).
