YOUNIS Bismillah led from the front as Interlink maintained the pressure on the top three in Group A of the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League.

The skipper took 5-46 as Hallfield were dismissed for 119 (Abdul Hamid 40) and then anchored the reply with 64 not out, after losing some early partners, as Interlink triumphed by four wickets.

An even better performance came from Sohail Butt as Great Horton Church beat Girlington in a game which was reduced to 30 overs per side.

Church made 163, Butt leading the way with 69 and Mohammed Zahid scoring 41 as Mohammed Azad bagged 5-31. In reply, Girlington were all out for 61, with Butt taking a devastating 5-4.

Omars remain top after a winning draw against Bradford Moor. Malik Nazir took 4-25 in Omars' 173 but Bradford Moor held out at 156-9, with Masroor Ahmed scoring 42.

Divyang Patel made the highest individual score of the day – 113 not out as VVS Laxman beat Apperley Bridge by seven wickets.

In Group B, Parkside extended their lead to 21 points after defeating Yorkshire LPS by 15 runs.

Parkside made 170-9, Farhaad Mir scoring 65, before LPS were dismissed for 155.

Great Horton Church moved into second place after beating Girlington by eight wickets.

Girlington were back in the pavilion for only 67, Riadus Rashad taking 7-33, before Church made 69-2.

Hallfield remain top of Group C as Ausman Ali (4-28) and Sohail Butt (4-13) were among the wickets, with Mandhata dismissed for 109 (Ritesh Patel 41no, Pritesh Patel 41).

Ebrahim Mutavali then hit 56 not out as Hallfield replied with 110-4.

Mayfield, who lost to Greenfield by five wickets, are still leading Group D.

In their 40 overs, Mayfield made 154-8, Greenfield replying on 156-5, with Syed Ehsan Ali Shah making 49 and Abid Ali 47 not out.

Buttershaw St Paul's were indebted to Nicos Haralabidis, who made 87 of their 169 (Steve Pass 5-26, Paul Butterfield 4-48), Great Horton Meths being dismissed for 72 in response.
