NEIL Harris admitted Millwall are in a “strange” position with a two-goal cushion for their home leg.

The Lions boss didn’t expect his side to be in such a strong position going into the Den return game.

He said: “It’s a different challenge. I’ve said to the guys we’re 2-0 up in the first minute.

“The players have got that confidence but it’s a strange situation to be in.

“It’s one we would have taken at 12pm last Sunday. Where we’ve been so good this year is we don’t change our mentality and we won’t change now.

“It’s carried us this far and the players won’t change. We’ll play an aggressive form of football and we’ll get at Bradford.”

Harris is likely to stick with the bulk of the first-leg team but Tony Craig’s experience might be preferred to Joe Martin at left back.

The defender, who struck the third goal, had been struggling with an illness leading up to the game and was taken off before the end.

Harris added: “If I was being really picky I wasn’t happy with our performance after the break so there’s loads for us to do better.”

Veteran defender Carlos Edwards has underlined Millwall’s determination to reach Wembley.

He said: “We might chew someone’s hands off to get to the final, let alone lift the trophy.”

Millwall quickly sold out all their home tickets and City can expect to face a fierce crowd.

Midfielder Ben Thompson said: “We want it to be an intimidating and hostile atmosphere because that will be to our advantage.

“Having the fans’ backing will be a huge help and we want to reward them for their support with a positive result.”
