FARSLEY face a long, meandering end to the season after their play-off hopes were all but snuffed out by Tuesday night's defeat at Mossley which left them eight points off the pace with just seven games remaining.
Neil Parsley’s men had been contenders for most of the campaign but three defeats in their last five games have seen them drop out of the running.
They host Lancaster City on Saturday who have also had a disappointing season and find themselves in the bottom half of the table.
It will be the third meeting of the two clubs this season with each team having won once.
Farsley avenged their 3-0 defeat on the opening day of the season at Giant Axe by knocking Lancaster out of the League Cup by the same score at Throstle Nest.
Parsley’s men will be hoping to make home advantage count again although they will be without striker Adam Priestley as he is away on international duty with Gibraltar for their European Championship qualifier with Scotland.
