ZESH Rehman is convinced Stuart McCall will get back into management in England.

McCall resigned from Motherwell a month ago after a reign that saw them reach back-to-back second places in the Premier League and the 2011 Scottish Cup final.

He turned down the chance to return to Sheffield United last year and revealed that there had been other offers from English clubs.

McCall is continuing as part of Gordon Strachan’s coaching staff with the Scotland national team but Rehman certainly expects to see him back in the domestic picture before long.

He said: “Stuart is a great man manager and people person. He was a young manager at Bradford but even then he gave his heart and soul to the job – I enjoyed playing for him.

“I thought he did great at Motherwell and now deserves to be on the international stage with Scotland. That will enhance him as a coach.

“He is hard working and honest so it would not surprise me if we see him managing at Championship level in the future.”
