Bradford Bulls 34, Hull FC 28

LEE Gaskell provided the inspiration as the Bulls hit back from 12-0 down to secure a third straight Super League win.

Early tries from Jamie Shaul and Gareth Ellis appeared to have put Lee Radford’s side in control but Bradford stormed back to ensure their recent renaissance did not falter.

Gaskell was involved in several tries as Jimmy Lowes’ men showed highly impressive spirit and no little skill to overpower the Black and Whites.

Jamie Foster got the ball rolling when he scored from a pass by Joe Arundel, who then touched down himself against his parent club to make it 12-10 at the break.

Adam Sidlow barrelled over the line four minutes after the restart before Arundel went over again and fellow Hull loanee Jay Pitts also touched down.

Hull capitulated badly but replied through Ellis again and Setaimata Sa either side of a try from Danny Addy before Tom Lineham rounded of the scoring in the last minute.

The result marked the first time since August 2012 that Bradford had registered three successive Super League victories.

Another great win, coming from behind, proving that there is a team spirit second to none, players playing for each other, the club and for the supporters, proud to wear the Bulls shirt.
But there'll be those out there, thinking " What might have been if Jimmy had been etc ". It's not " What might have been " It's " What will be, now Jimmy's here "

There'll be a few clubs in Championship, now, begining to have sleepless nights!

Good win today. A game of two halves we did well to go in at half time still in the game due to silly errors and bad refereeing. Second half better but lost some battles which let them stay in the game. We have passion, determination and commitmen and self belief something we didn't have under Cummins. Jimmy is building a good squad for next season but I think gale has to stay with us he is totally a different player under Jimmy. Gaskell was class today he will be unplayable next season. Nice to see pitts and arundel scoring today hopefully they will be on board next season to. Well done boys #COYB

I'm one of those thinking "if only". I bet Marc Green is another.

Whilst I am encourged at the current upturn in form, next season will be a journey into the unknown with a different side and a different story and I, for one, won't be counting any chickens.

Well, well, well.....
Now that was a performance that I really enjoyed...although not the first 20minutes or so!
I suppose there will be the usual nonsense being spouted such as "Wigan were out of sorts" and "Leeds fielded a team of babes in arms" !
A prize for the best thought out excuse for our win today - come on the usual suspects, give Hull some comfort for their top 8 spot...not !
Immensely pleased with the team ethic, the lads didn't panic and just kept on plugging away.
This was my first live game since the Salford fracas - looked like a total different team on the park. If this is the passion to win which will be shown next year, bring on a year of success !

Jimmy has really got them motivated Gaskell was brilliant today not only in attack but played a big part in defence too it was very enjoyable game after the early lapses and some strange refereeing they all played there part well done . Good luck to players leaving maybe in a years time some will regret leaving but we all make decision s in life some for good some for bad . It's nice to see all the old players getting involved some way or another lets hope the success they enjoyed rubs of on the present team .

Spanglish, they'll play " the we had kids in " card. Anyway, good win today, playing with heart now.
Pablo, Yes, it's a journey into the unknown, not so much of a different side though, the nucleus of the squad is staying, the new additions, with more to come, look capable and have the experience , to take the club forward. I'm not counting chickens either as there are some tough games coming up, in the Championship. But, what do you mean by different story?

we actually played better against Wigan. Not at our best but still too good for Hull.

Next year the salary cap is only £1m but wonder what the cost of the current squad is. If it was £1.65m at the start of the season we then lost Winterstein, Carvell, Sammut and Scruton from the squad, although pitts and arundle were added to it. I think if we then took kearney and diskin out of the wage bill, we'd probably be somewhere near next years £1m cap and would have decent squad

Excellent display yesterday afternoon, really enjoyed the game, the difference in the side since Jimmy came in is incredible, earlier this year once Hull got 12 points up with the wind in their backs that would have been it - another 50 point thrashing, but yesterday a display full of skill pride in the shirt and guts. Won't mention too much about the usual awful display from Mr Hicks, this bloke like Mr Roby is just not fit for purpose, wake up Red Hall and sort this pathetic excuse for match officials, they are ruining the game.

Goes to show we should always have a Bradford Bulls legend in charge of Bradford Bulls.
