Albion Sports got their first three points of the new season at the second time of asking when they won 1-0 at Cleethorpes Town last night.
A last-gasp Alex Cusack penalty, after Danny Facey had been brought down, was all that separated the sides. However, it was enough to get Albion some points on the board in the Toolstation Northern Counties East Premier Division.
Counterparts Liversedge are still seeking their first point after a second successive defeat. They lost at home to Cleethorpes on Saturday and went down 5-3 at Worksop Town last night. Tom Jackson, Andy Wood and Keiran Corley were on target for Sedge.
In The North West Counties Premier, Silsden played out an entertaining 0-0 draw at home to Squires Gate.
