OLYMPIC champion Nicola Adams made an impressive start to her bid to win a Commonwealth Games boxing gold medal.
The former Bradford College student gained an emphatic points win over Nigeria’s Oluwatoyin Oladeji in Glasgow, tonight.
The world number one bounced back from her shock defeat in the recent European championships, by dominating the flyweight 51kg contest throughout.
The Leeds-based boxer had too much strength and skill for her gallant rival as she delighted her fans.
