Purcell needs putting back in the second row he's forgotten how to play centre.

As I posted yesterday sitting on a bus one and a half days is no preparation for any match. That's the excuse for no energy, but having no idea to tackle, no moves with the ball and no enthusiasm can only be down to the players and coaches. At the beginning of the year I said if FC didn't get rid of St Hilaire he would cost him his job. When Brian Noble and Matty Elliot became available I said FC needed experienced help. We appreciate the injuries and the problems of finding players that FC has had to put up with but if we don't win next week its the time for change.

That says what most fans think and puts it in a nutshell. I too started in 1964 and believe me we have had some rubbish, even being in the old 2nd division. Difference being, we seemed to turn corners and come out of it. We brought Peter Fox back who got Geoff Grayshon to come to the Northern. Two of the most honest and hard working men I've seen, and we rose again to become champions of the 1st division. Point being, change is desperately needed and the board must act now.

Boring uninterested lacklustre lazy **** aka bulls !i too have watched northern since 77 and it is in my memory the worst consecutive displays of all the adjectives we have all wrote to express our dismay at the standard that can be almost accepted as the norm within our club, when you witness all these hammerings yet we never see any onfield indiscipline ie somebody twatting the opposition for making them look like total amateurs can only go to show we have players with no pride for the club or themselves as by now somebody would have let their anger come to the fore ! Can you imagine Hobbs, Fairbank, nobby, peacock, fielden, rathbone, Grayshon, casey, hill, McDermott, skerrett, Calland, heron, Leon, to name but a few being so lame in defeat, why no because these guys love the club and are winners, we now have the total opposite, players with no affinity to the cause and not winners deep within, they are all journeyman who have been found out elsewhere previously, hence in a team now of this standard, but it is down to a coach to reignite the basic principals all rugby players require, fight, strength, belief, unselfishness, desire but more than anything an honesty within and that is the ultimate reason for our failings, men who talk the talk believe their own hype but ultimately know they can't face themselves in the mirror without doubting what they are becoming, pathetic of cummins to constantly be saying teams will be worrying, trying mind games in a last ditch attempt to unsettle other teams performances he ain't no fergie, twitchy bum time indeed and his must have one big itch ! We have a defensive coach that has coached defensive alignment and support in depth out of our players he needs to pack his bags and go.

The problem who do we bring in or do we let the lads coach themselves; what have we got to lose? let Walker and Diskin step up to the plate and try to save what little pride we have left as a Club.

Fortunately I have yet to watch the Catalan debacle. However the one abiding feature from the reports, is a complete lack of leadership either on or off the field.

Diskin wasn't playing and quite honestly Gale isn't the man to take over the captainship, in my opinion he hasn't that quality or the drive a good scrum half has in attack or defence. Having not seen the game I may be totally off beam with this assumption...we shall see when I get round to watching it, once the pain has eased?

Raisemeup, have a strong drink at the side of you before you switch on. We dominated the last 20 minutes of the first half, mostly through penalties and Catalans desire to be too cavalier, and even then we were clueless. These players are not THAT bad but they are performing like amateurs. Very unlikely we will evencome close to beating Wakefield or London. We are playing like Halifax did in their death throes in the top flight. There is something sadly wrong at Odsal to be making players to exhibit no idea when we do know they have plenty of talent. Poor management and terrible coaching spring to mind.

It breaks my heart to say it, but after the last few performances I cannot honestly see how these supposed "players" have the cheek to pick up a wage packet. The mistakes made yesterday such as letting the ball bounce from kicks and not knowing how to tackle tells me that the players do just not care anymore and whether they have been told what the future is by the management has to be questioned. I have watched the Bulls since the mid 80s and cannot honestly remember a set of players who I would class as not fit to wear the shirt more than this current bunch!!

I started following Northern in 1962 when they were really crap, but in all honesty I cant remember them being as bad as this lot. They lost nearly every match but never every match by pushing 50 or more.
I will be there next Sunday supporting them because thats what true supporters do but I also know something is radically wrong and needs sorting. All you ever offer is to blame someone who won't ever defend themselves.
I know when it started to go really wrong and it was after Caisley had stood down.
Peter Hood was the real weak link, as the dismantling of the team and the management structure proved in later years if you have any real facts let me know as I know a superb litigation lawyer, who would be thrilled to answer your concerns.

Oh! And before we have is usual defenders springing up. Wasn't Mr Hood remit to provide "financial prudence"? I am still wishing to know where the supporters' 500K disappeared to.

Fancis Cummins must go to the matches because the comments he makes after are not about the game i have watched, he says catalands game was embrrassing, tell me one that was'ant, hull fc away was totaly un accsetable, he blames lack of players, wigans youngster put in an admral, performace and showed what good leader ship can do, the bulls badly need that leadership.

caisley left at the end of 2005 with the club in good shape a good coach and players above average attendances trophies in the cabinet but made one mistake years ago since then the club has been run down by consecutive owners who have tried to run the club on the cheap promising the fans we have good youngsters coming through but sold them on as soon as an offer came in until someone pumps some money in and not out of the club we will continue to struggle.

The club needed new coaching ideas back in 2004, we had world class players that got us out of jail. The "lucky"grand final appearance that year and the "remarkable" win in 2005 disguised the problems. The players left and the coaching got even worse. The downward spiral has continued and new coaching ideas are needed now.

Cummins has had to put up with a lot and deserved to be given a chance to but its now evident he isn't ready for a the head coach job yet. He is an honourable man and i hope he offers the board his resignation. I hope the can find a role for him at the club. if he doesn't resign then for the good of club unfortunately I will be asking for him to be sacked on Sunday. The time has come to now rebuild for NEXT season

it is all well and good for people to ask for FC's head on a spike but where do we go from there?

No coach is going to want to coming in and take over a team that is in this state with do sign of backing form the board to bring in new players.

I say make the players the masters of their own destiny - Diskin, Kearney and Walker should be allowed to run the show; between them they have enough experience and lets face it things could not get any worse.
