City have this afternoon signed Huddersfield's Jon Stead on loan for the rest of the season.
The 30-year-old striker , who has recently returned from a loan spell at Oldham, will cover the absence left by the injured James Hanson.
The City targetman is still struggling with back and groin problems and is unlikely to travel to Leyton Orient this weekend.
Phil Parkinson is also without Andy Gray (shingles), while youngster Oliver McBurnie missed training today through illness.
Before his return to home-town club Huddersfield in the summer, Stead enjoyed spells with Blackburn Rovers, Sunderland, Sheffield United, Ipswich Town and Bristol City.
