It's not really the time of year to visit the seaside but that's a trip Bradford City face tomorrow as their twice postponed WFA Cup tie at home to Blackpool Wren Rovers has been switched to Blackpool by the FA.

Head coach Steve Warburton will be hoping his team bring back more than a little stick of Blackpool rock as they attempt to secure a home tie with Cardiff City in the next round.

It is a frustrating time for the first-team squad but elsewhere in the club things are still going well, with the reserves hoping to hold on to top spot in the FA Premier League Reserve section when they entertain Huddersfield Town.

In the West Riding County Womens League, the City A team, with many players having just stepped up from junior football, are still unbeaten.

Despite going 2-0 down on a heavy pitch at Norristhorpe, they hit back to make it 2-2 by half-time and finished 7-2 winners with goals from Chelsey Faulkner, Annie Nicol, Laura Gadd, Abbie Thompson, Amee Ruszkai, Ami Nolan and Jess McPherson.

This week the City A team are in League Shield action when they host Second Division promotion-chasers Oulton. Brighouse Sports reserves take on Dewsbury Rangers in another tie.

In the North East Regional League Premier Division, Guiseley face Castleford White Rose at Nethermoor hoping to keep their outside title hopes alive. It was a disappointing end to the year but second place is still within their grasp.

Promotion-hopefuls Brighouse Town go to Doncaster Belles in the North East Regional League (Southern Division) while Keighley Oaks are at Silsden in the West Riding League Premier, still smarting from a 4-3 defeat at Brayton. Leaders Farsley host Brighouse Sports.
