All the latest from the local angling scene.

BRADFORD CITY AA Mild conditions mean that fishing is being productive and members have reported good catches from BCAA lakes and rivers.

During 2013, BCAA has built several new fishing platforms at Shipton Lake and perfected a method by which to control the lilies and protect swims. Further work is planned next year to improve parking and fishing facilities at the lake and to start to restore the hedge alongside the road. The club also plans improvements to fishing and facilities at Staveley and Oakworth Lakes.
