But there was some good news for Grangefield as their reserves won 2-1 at Old Modernians Thirds in the third round of the Leeds & District Cup.
Andy Maybank and Si Yeadon scored the decisive goals, with Aidan Gilligan netting the reply to create a few nervous moments late on.
Third-bottom Calverley United were no match for leaders Farnley Sports as they lost their Senior B league fixture 4-1.
Scott Driscoll nipped in for a Calverley equaliser but Farnley pulled clear as Shane Gaunt (2), Lee Ransom and Matt Wilson provided the goals.
Mid-table Farsley Celtic Juniors picked up a useful point from a 1-1 draw against Leeds Medics & Dentists Reserves, who climbed to third thanks to a late equaliser by Sverrir Kristinsson. Si McQuiston had come off the bench to open the scoring.
St Bedes Reserves remain in trouble towards the foot of Division Two after a 2-0 defeat to Amaranth Crossgates, who are seventh after two goals by Tony Morley.
Heckmondwike GS climbed out of the bottom two in Division Three with a handy 2-1 win at Almondburians Reserves, who took the lead only for Daniel Laidlaw and Nigel Trewick-Wood to turn the tables.
