Bradford Dudley Hill’s season finished with a whimper when they suffered a heavy 58-6 defeat at Rochdale Mayfield.

Hill faltered badly after making a promising start to the season and they were not helped in their final game by having only 14 available players.

They led 6-4 until the 25-minute mark, however, after a try and conversion by man of the match Josh Chamberlain.

But Rochdale showed their class after the break and ran in 11 tries in all, with stand-off Lewis Sheridan converting seven of them.

Hill finished the season in seventh place with a record of 11 wins and 13 defeats.
