Matt Taylor will get match practice during his stay at Colchester
City centre half Matt Taylor has joined League One rivals Colchester on a month’s loan.
The summer signing has played only two games so far – the last in the 5-0 JP Trophy thrashing at Hartlepool – and Phil Parkinson is keen for him to get more match practice.
Colchester, who drew 2-2 at Valley Parade last weekend, have been hit by injuries and Taylor will go straight into the squad for their home game against Crawley tomorrow.
