A trio of top-flight clubs have maximum points after three games as the Bradford Sunday Alliance League make use of the light summer evenings to kick off their season.
Buttershaw White Star and defending champions West Bowling share top spot on goal difference and Stanningley Albion are also on nine points after beating Mill Lane by the odd goal in three on Thursday.
Something has to give on Sunday as Division One winners Stanningley face a tough test at perennial high-fliers White Star, while Peel Park – promoted alongside Albion last season – host West Bowling.
Wyke Wanderers broke their Premier Division duck in midweek when they beat Dudley Hill Rangers 4-2 thanks to doubles from Josh Hans and Glyn Hirst.
In Division One, Victoria Rangers beat Allerton 2-0 with Damien Rushworth netting both goals.
And in Division 1B, Alexander won their opening match 2-1 against Beldon 2-1 courtesy of strikes by Jamie Kitchen and Jordan Sweeney.
