Bradford Park Avenue will be expected to maintain the 100 per cent start to their pre-season campaign tomorrow night.

John Deacey’s Conference North outfit have already played two warm-up games, while it will be a first run out for hosts Liversedge, who play four rungs lower down on the non-league ladder.

Avenue have had their full squad out for their first two friendly fixtures and have looked sharp, scoring seven goals.

Close-season signings Chib Chilaka and Danny Forrest, two players who learned their trade at Valley Parade, have been on target and Richard Marshall has bagged two – one in the 5-3 win over a Pakistan XI and a penalty in Saturday’s 2-1 victory at Wakefield.

This will be the first of just five friendlies Sedge have planned, all of which are at home.

After tomorrow night they have a nine-day break until Ossett Town visit Clayborn.

There is another local clash tomorrow, with Farsley hosting their new tenants as Albion Sports get back into action.

Sports shared Horsfall Stadium with Park Avenue last season but, when that option was not extended for a third term, neighbours Farsley stepped in with an offer for them to use Throstle Nest.

Farsley have concentrated on training for the past ten days after their opening game against Leeds United.

Whites boss Brian McDermott pitched in every available player, including the close-season signings – notably Matt Smith and Noel Hunt – as the
Championship outfit romped to a 5-0 victory but the hosts should be favourites for a win against Albion.

Silsden also have their second game tomorrow night, having returned to action at the weekend with a 2-0 win over Harrogate Railway. That should have been a home game but it was switched to University Academy Keighley’s 3G pitch.

The work done on their Keighley Road ground during the summer prevented the Cobbydalers from hosting Saturday’s game but tomorrow's fixture is due to take place back at the Angel Telecom Stadium in Silsden.
