Brighouse Town 2, Huddersfield Town XI 2
Brighouse Town hosted a youthful Huddersfield Town squad at the Dual Seal Stadium and although the first half remained goalless, there was plenty of late action as it finished 2-2.
The home side broke the deadlock when Ben Lamb scored seven minutes after the break but there was a hectic finish to the pre-season friendly.
Dwain Holmes levelled for Huddersfield ten minutes from time and Will Chapel put the visitors in front with a little over two minutes remaining.
But Tom Matthews, last season’s top scorer for Brighouse, rescued a draw with a stoppage-time equaliser.
